Shipping policy

All orders are processed from same day up to 3 business days (excluding weekends and holidays) for in-stock items after receiving your order confirmation email. You will receive another notification when your order has shipped. 

Due to shipping delays out of our control we cannot guarantee the transit time of your order once it is in the possession of the shipper.

Lost or Damaged Shipments

We are not responsible for lost or damaged packages once they are in possession of the carrier.

Domestic Shipping Rates and Estimates

For calculated shipping rates: Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout. 

Free Shipping: We offer free ground shipping on orders over $175 in the continental 48 states. PLEASE NOTE: that some chemicals, finishes, and oversized items shipped by freight may have hazmat fees or shipping charges added to those items. This will be disclosed on the item’s page.

In-store pickup: You can skip the shipping fees with free local pickup at 345 Huss Drive, Suite B, Chico California 95928. After placing your order and selecting local pickup at checkout, your order will be prepared and ready for pick up. We will send you an email when your order is ready along with instructions. 

Our in-store pickup hours are 8:00am-5:30pm on Monday through Thursday. Please have your order confirmation email with you when you come.

International Shipping

We are working on implementing automated international shipping on this site in the meantime please contact us if you are out of the United States and would like to place an order. 

Your order may be subject to import duties and taxes (including VAT), which are incurred once a shipment reaches your destination country. Bidwell Wood And Iron is not responsible for these charges if they are applied and are your responsibility as the customer.

How do I check the status of my order?

When your order has shipped, you will receive an email notification from us which will include a tracking number you can use to check its status. Please allow 48 hours for the tracking information to become available. 
If you haven’t received your order within 5 business days of receiving your shipping confirmation email, please contact us at with your name and order number, and we will look into it for you.

Shipping to P.O. boxes
